Mindfulness is awareness of one's present thoughts, emotions or actions. Right mindfulness (often also termed right meditation) involves bringing one's awareness back (i.e. from the past or the future) into the present moment. Recent studies indicated mindfulness meditation improves attention and self-regulation, which has the potential for stress reduction, well-being and performance improvement, etc.
